Every package should make it to its intended recipient, however, there are times when this doesn't happen. But why? Packages can be lost in shipping, misplaced by a carrier, get stolen or moved by another resident. This occurs more frequently when a property doesn’t have secure package storage. The good news is that you can take the same steps, regardless of why a package never made it to the resident.
The resident can reach out to your package management support team to help them locate their package. If your solution has package logging and video, the vendor will be able to tell them if the package was actually delivered to the system.
Have the resident contact the person who shipped them the item, and inform them that the package was not successfully delivered.
Contact the carrier who attempted to make the delivery, and inform them that the package was not successfully delivered.

In the case of theft, you should file a police report.
